Build Islamic education facility with dormitories & Islamic Center in the heart of Buffalo, NY

MUNA Center of Buffalo (MCB-WNY) completed the purchase and is committed to reopening the facility that’s been in the heart of Buffalo since 1858 to worship God Almighty and empower the local communities. It’s a great venture for MCB-WNY to once again revive the energy and connection with God that this premise has served for 154 years. Our gratitude to God Almighty starts with gaining knowledge of him, his creation and commands, and servicing humanity. The local community in the City of Buffalo has taken a great venture of continuing this once-worshiping landmark to develop a Higher Islamic Education facility and Center for the community. The academic location is in the prime location of Buffalo, NY in 1 acre of existing premises. This will be a landmark and will attract Students and families from all over the USA inshaAllah. The 1 acre of the facility will have many buildings fully renovated including a Welcome Center, Academic Buildings, Dormitories for boys and girls, a Faculty Building, an Islamic Center, a Playground, and much more. MUNA Center of Buffalo (MCB-WNY) will be serving local communities with religious, social, cultural, educational, and recreational needs, strengthen the relationship with interfaith leaders and centers, and contribute to the well-being of the locals. Additional community services will include marriage, Islamic halaqah, and various festival events.

A “Welcome Center” will serve as a vital hub for new immigrants and local residents, fostering integration, inclusivity, and community cohesion. While enriching the broader community, MCB-WNY will strive to build and enhance the skills of adults and families through Adult Learning Center and Vocational Training. Adult Learning Center will provide classes for working adults who are looking to pursue continuing education options primarily at night or on weekends and connect with employment opportunities. Vocational Training program will include courses like Basic Computer Operation, Data Entry, Microsoft Office Certification (MOS), Digital Marketing, and many more. We want to ensure that our community and learners remain competitive in today’s job market. These programs will provide adults with the technical and hands-on expertise needed for various industries and companies. Additionally, English as a Second Language (ESL) courses will be provided as per the Adult Learning Center program to build their language proficiency and communicate professionally in the workplace.

Our academic institution will provide a comprehensive education, Pre-K to 12th grade, encompassing Hifz and Alim courses following the well-renowned curriculum from Quran Academy for Young Scholars (QAFYS). We will integrate the New York State Board of Education's general curriculum, emphasizing math and science education. These subjects empower students to navigate the complexities of the world and inspire innovative thinking. The dual approach fosters success in both religious and worldly domains. Our goal is to nurture a generation of critical thinkers who will shape the future through a profound understanding of these foundational disciplines, contributing to society in both spiritual and serving global humanity realms.
